BBA October 2026 Recap: Secret Boo, No-Buy November & What’s Coming Next

October was full of happy mail, new friendships, and the kind of community moments that remind us Blind Box Anonymous is about so much more than what is inside the box. We celebrated spooky season together, turned community votes into official BBA merch, and started building two very different—but equally fun—holiday challenges for November and December.

Our first BBA Secret Boo Exchange 👻

Our Secret Boo crew brought together six members across five states for a Halloween happy-mail exchange. Everyone secretly shopped for another member, filled a box with thoughtful surprises, and sent a little spooky-season joy across the country.

The best part was getting together for a multi-guest TikTok LIVE to open our packages. Seeing everyone’s reactions, the personal touches, and the care behind each box made the exchange feel extra special. It was proof that a shared love of collectibles can grow into genuine friendship.

The community chose our new merch 🎀

BBA members voted, and the winning design was “Just One More Box…”—possibly the most relatable sentence in blind-box history. The artwork features three adorable surprise-box friends in our signature pink, lavender, and mint palette.

The design is now part of our BBA apparel, and the “Just One More Box” sweatshirts are on sale for $35. We love that this design was not simply picked for the group—it was picked by the group.

Coming in November: No-Buy November 🌱

In November, we are trying something new: BBA No-Buy Buddy, a supportive challenge designed to help us slow down, notice our shopping habits, and cheer one another on.

This challenge is about progress, not perfection. Members can check in each day, build a personal streak, and earn one prize-pool entry for every no-buy day. If someone shops, the personal streak ends—but they can check in honestly, begin again the next day, and continue helping the community work toward its shared goal. We can also track purchase counts without shame so we can better understand our patterns.

Coming in December: BBA Secret Santa 🎄

After the sweetness of Secret Boo, we are carrying the happy-mail magic into December with the BBA Secret Santa 2026 exchange. Members will be matched privately and will use their recipient’s wish list and preferences to build a thoughtful holiday surprise.

Secret Santa will give us another chance to connect beyond the screen, discover what makes our fellow collectors smile, and celebrate the season as a community. Sign-up details, deadlines, and exchange updates will be shared with BBA members.
