We've all been there!

That's exactly why our Blind Box Anonymous (BBA) community is kicking off No Buy November, a month-long challenge to help us become more mindful collectors, support one another, and have a little fun along the way.

And because we love making things cute, we've created our very own digital companion to help us through it!

No Buy Buddy is a free, community-powered check-in tracker created especially for Blind Box Anonymous members.

Think of it as your adorable little accountability buddy, cheering you on as you resist those tempting blind box purchases.

Whether you're saving money, taking a break from impulse purchases, or simply curious about your shopping habits, No Buy Buddy makes the experience feel less like a restriction and more like a community adventure.

With No Buy Buddy, you can:

🎀 Check in daily: Celebrate every day you successfully avoid buying collectibles.
🔥 Build your personal streak: See how many no-buy days you can achieve in a row.
💕 Contribute to our community streak: Every successful no-buy check-in helps our BBA community grow stronger.
🏆 Climb the leaderboard: Follow along with other members and celebrate everyone's progress.
📝 Reflect on your journey: Record your thoughts, temptations, and little victories.

🗓️ How Does No Buy November Work?

Our official challenge begins November 1, 2026, and runs through November 30.

The goal is simple: become more intentional about what we buy while supporting our fellow collectors.

Here's how it works:

1. Sign up for No Buy Buddy.

Visit our free tracker and create your participant profile. No complicated account setup required!

2. Save your recovery code!

After registering, find your recovery code in your settings and save it somewhere safe. You'll need it to return to your profile if you lose access to your session.

3. Check in every day.

Did you make it through the day without purchasing blind boxes or collectibles? Check in and celebrate!

4. Watch your streak grow.

Every successful no-buy day adds to your personal progress and contributes to our community's collective achievement.

5. Celebrate your progress and participate in the prize drawing!

Each eligible no-buy check-in earns an entry toward our November grand prize drawing. The more successful days you have, the more chances you earn!

🛍️ What If I Buy Something?

First of all, we're collectors. We get it. 😂

No Buy November is about progress, not perfection.

If you buy something during the challenge, you're not kicked out, and you don't have to stop participating.

Your personal no-buy streak simply resets, and you can start building it again the next day.

You can still check in, reflect on what happened, and cheer on the community.

We're not here to shame anyone for shopping. We're here to encourage mindful spending and create a positive space where we can talk openly about our collecting habits.

A few special exceptions:

🎁 Gifts for others, including holiday presents and purchases for kids, don't count against your no-buy streak.
🦃 Black Friday (November 27) and Cyber Monday (November 30) are official challenge pause days. No check-ins are required, and those days won't count against your streak.

🏆 Yes, There's a Grand Prize!

What's a BBA challenge without a little surprise?

Throughout November, we'll be building a community-supported grand prize fund, with the goal of awarding a ToyBeta gift card to one lucky participant!

Every eligible no-buy check-in gives you another entry into the drawing.

We'll also be encouraging our community to help grow the prize through optional contributions and purchases from our Jennifereal shop.
