I spotted the new TOPTOY x NOMMI Izakaya Bites Series Plush Doll Blind Box during a DidaPop TikTok LIVE, and unfortunately for my wallet, this food-themed lineup is exactly the kind of cute chaos that gets me every time.
What is the NOMMI Izakaya Bites Series?
Izakaya Bites turns NOMMI into a miniature Japanese comfort-food menu. The collection includes six regular plush-doll designs and one secret design, each with its own snack-inspired costume and tiny details.
The regular lineup shown on the packaging includes:
- Chicken Dango 🍡
- Tamago Sushi 🍣
- Sakura Mochi 🌸
- Strawberry Daifuku 🍓
- Ebi Fry 🍤
- Matcha Cake 🍵
The mystery silhouette on the box is labeled Kaisen Ramen, making the secret a tiny seafood-ramen-themed NOMMI. Of course the ramen is the secret—because apparently this series needed to be even more dangerous for collectors.

As of September 15, 2026, TOPTOY’s official online store lists NOMMI Izakaya Bites as in stock and ready to ship for $26.99 per random box. I also saw the series being shown on DidaPop’s TikTok LIVE, which means it is already making its way into the live-shopping side of the blind-box community. Which one would I want?
My immediate DISO is Strawberry Daifuku. The pink hood, strawberry theme, and sweet little dessert-shop energy are completely on brand for me. Sakura Mochi is a very close second—but honestly, this is one of those dangerous lineups where I would not be mad at any pull.
And then there is Kaisen Ramen lurking behind that secret silhouette, whispering, “Buy just one more.” 😂
My collector verdict
This series feels especially strong because the food theme is instantly recognizable without losing NOMMI’s fluffy, pastel personality. It is cute, collectible, display-friendly, and made for unboxing content. In other words: a direct attack on my self-control.
